Jiangsu Higher Education Association and the Education Management Research Committee of International Students jointly issued a document promulgating the 2018 advanced collectives and individuals of Jiangsu students coming to China for education. Our college was honored as 2018 Annual Advanced Collective For International Students’ Education In Jiangsu Province. Mr. Xu Honggui was awarded Advanced Individual of International Students’ Education Management in Jiangsu Province, and Mr. Mao Lei was awarded Outstanding Instructor of International Students in Jiangsu Province.
The honor is a recognition of the international student education in our college in recent years. In 2016, our college began to implement international student education in China, mainly for countries along Silk Road Economic Belt and countries with strong industrial bases.
At present, there are more than 300 academic students from 8 countries in central Asia, east Asia and northeast Europe. The increase in the number of international students ranks at the forefront of higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu province. We will continue to promote high standards of international cooperation. While steadily expanding the scale of international students, strive to improve the quality of international student training, build a brand of international students studying in China, and add luster to the construction of first-class vocational colleges with distinctive characteristics.
