2. Application Form

Applicants can choose one of the following three ways: 

(1) Send the scanned copy of the application materials to ycgyic@126.com (recommended);

(2) Click http://ic.yctei.cn/ to apply online;

(3) Mail the application materials to: International Education School, Yancheng Polytechnic College, 285 South Jiefang Road, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, China, Post Code 224005, Tel: (+86515)-88580189.

3. Application Procedure

Step 1: Registration (online applicants);

Step 2: Fill in and submit the application form online (online applicants); or log on to the college website to download the Yancheng Polytechnic College 2021 Application Form for International Students in China (http://english.yctei.cn/1506/list. htm), fill in Chinese or English as required;

Step 3: Submit the following application materials (all application forms must provide the following materials)

(1) Yancheng Polytechnic College Application Form for International Students in 2021, fill in Chinese or English as required;

(2) A recent bareheaded ID photo with a white background;

(3) A copy of the relevant passport (passport personal information page; if you have study experience in China, you need to provide the study visa information page and residence permit information page in China, and provide the original school recommendation letter);

(4) The highest degree certificate and transcript (if it is not in Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation must be submitted and notarized);

(5) If the applicant is a student or in-service worker, he/she must submit a certificate of enrollment or certificate of employment issued by the school or work unit (if it is not in Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation must be submitted and notarized);

(6) Chinese proficiency certificate or advanced study certificate (if have);

(7) Certificate of no criminal record  (if it is not in Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation must be submitted and notarized);

(8) Applicants under the age of 18 must fill in the Guardian Power of Attorney and provide proof that a foreigners permanently residing in China or Chinese resident is the guardian of the student;

(9) The Foreigner Physical Examination Form approved by your country’s government, which contains the following health information that we need to know about applicants. After enrolling in YCPC, international students shall apply for the Health Examination Certificate in the Chinese health and quarantine department;

(10) The applicant shall provide a bank deposit certificate equivalent to RMB 20,000 or more (calculated according to the exchange rate on the day when the relevant certificate is issued).

Step 4: The International Education School reviews the application materials and sends an entrance examination notice to eligible applicants by email. The school organizes the entrance examination (interview or written examination) and announces the entrance examination results to the candidates within 5 working days;

Step 5: The International Education School verifies and determines the list of candidates, and submits it to the superior department for review. If pass, students will obtain the admission notice;

Step 6: The admitted students shall check the admission notice information and confirm it within 5 days;

Step 7: After receiving the confirmation, the school will use courier to mail the originals of the admission notice, visa application form (JW202) and registration instructions according to the correspondence address provided by the applicant;

Step 8: The admitted students shall hold the original admission notice and visa application form (JW202) to the Chinese embassy (consulate) in your country to apply for a study visa (X1 visa);

Step 9: After the applicants get the visa and prepare to enter into China, students shall inform the School of International Education of their itinerary so that we can arrange all matters related to enrollment.
