During their visit to the Changzhou Operations Management Department of Texhong International Group, Wang Shudong and his team held a symposium with Song Xiaochun, HR Director; Zang Jinguo, HR Manager; and Chen Fuli, Recruitment and Training Supervisor. At the meeting, Song Xiaochun introduced the recent developments of Texhong Group in the textile and apparel industry and outlined its future international expansion plans. Both parties had in-depth discussions on the construction plan of the Vietnam Overseas Academy and reached a consensus on extending the successful experience of the Vietnam project to Texhong Group’s overseas industrial parks in Mexico, Nicaragua, and other locations. Wang Shudong emphasized that the university will fully leverage its professional expertise and talent resources to precisely align with the overseas development needs of enterprises. Through initiatives such as order-based training, employee education, and technical collaboration, the university will provide Texhong Group's overseas industrial parks with high-quality technical professionals, thereby supporting the company’s localization efforts. Before the meeting, the delegation visited Texhong Group's cultural exhibition hall to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s development history, industrial layout, and international strategies.

During the research visit to Black Peony Textile Co., Ltd., Wang Shudong and his team held discussions with General Manager Jiang Weimin and Deputy Manager Yang Chunyan. The two sides explored topics such as talent cultivation through industry-university collaboration and the joint construction of overseas training bases. Jiang Weimin expressed satisfaction with previous cooperation results and hoped for further deepened collaboration in talent development, employee training, technical research, and high-quality employment opportunities. Wang Shudong stated that the university would closely address technical challenges and talent shortages encountered in the company's international expansion by optimizing academic programs and curriculum structures, thereby providing talent and technical support for the company's overseas projects. Following the meeting, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the company’s intelligent production workshop to gain detailed insights into the application of cutting-edge textile technologies and the company’s core needs for international talent.

In recent years, the university has proactively aligned with regional industrial upgrades and the development needs of multinational enterprises, pioneering an industry-university collaborative overseas expansion model. By jointly establishing overseas academies, developing internationally standardized curricula, and implementing cross-border technical training programs, the university has built a vocational education system that supports Chinese enterprises in their global operations. Moving forward, the university will use the overseas academy initiative as a strategic leverage point to strengthen cooperation with enterprises expanding internationally. This effort aims to serve the global development needs of the textile and apparel industry, establish a Jiangsu model for industry-university collaboration, and contribute to enhancing the global influence of Chinese vocational education.
