The Men's Soccer Team of the International Education School won the YCPC Soccer Match

  From April 19th to 25th, the men's soccer team of the School of International Education participated in the YCPC 7v7 Soccer Match organized by the Sports Department (8 teams from different secondary schools participated in the competition) . Our soccer team is composed of 12 international students from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries. After fierce competition, our team won the championship.

  During the group stage, our men's soccer team competed with the Textile and Garment School, the Intelligent Manufacturing School and the Art and Design School in Group B, and finally entered the semi-finals with a three-game victory. In the semi-finals, they narrowly defeated the School of Economics and Trade Management with a score of 3:2, and entered the final with the School of Architecture and Engineering.

  In the final, both teams of our school and the School of Architecture and Engineering went through a fierce competition in the first and second halves. In the final penalty shootout, our goalkeeper Lin Feng bravely saved a penalty kick from the opposing player to help the team win 5:4. The international student Wu Mi won the Best Player and Golden Boot Award for his outstanding performance.

  Before the match, our team leader strengthened the teamwork and discipline awareness of the team members; our team members good spirituality, superb soccer skills and excellent teamwork won the applause and praise of teachers and students. 

  Our students always upheld the sports spirit of friendship first, competition second. we not only showed ourselves, but also bloomed our youthful vitality, and promoted the sports exchanges with Chinese students.
