Recently, the 2020 Shared Joy in Jiangsu Chinese Speech Contest co-sponsored by the Information Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and Jiangsu Radio and Television General Station was successfully held. The competition aims to promote Chinese language and culture, enhance the influence of Chinese culture, and show the beautiful image of Jiangsu to the foreign friends working, studying and living in Jiangsu. 11 international students were selected to participate in the competition from the School of International Education in YCPC. The Ukrainian student Nick and the Kazakh student Miras entered the semifinals, competed with 39 Chinese masters from 21 countries on five continents. Nick stood out and won the first prize in the North Jiangsu group and the third prize in the Jiangsu Province. Only 2 foreign students from higher vocational colleges entered the finals. And Teacher Mao Lei won the title of Excellent Tutor.
