From May 25th to 26th, the Founding Conference for the International Alliance of Textile & Fashion Vocational Education was held in Nantong. Shao Congqing, the college partty committee secretary, and Sun Weifang, the vice president of the college, were invited to attend the meeting. More than 700 experts and scholars in the field of textile and fashion education from colleges, enterprises and industries in 17 countries and regions gathered together to conduct discussions on cultivation of textile and fashion talents, reform of education and teaching, and internationalization of education. As a deputy chairman of the alliance, our college has been communicating with representatives of colleges and enterprises at home and abroad.
Shao Congqing introduced the development of international exchange and cooperation. He hoped that the alliance can integrate multiple advantageous resources, and absorb the successful experience in textile equipment, textile creativity and intelligent textiles of developed countries such as Europe and the United States into China. At the same time, China’s textile vocational education experience will be extended to developing countries.
